ALBERT AYLER
Holy Ghost
10xCD box set

£140.00
Condition: VG / VG+
Label: Revenant
Catalogue No: RVN 213
Released in 2004 and probably the definitive word on Ayler's short career. Diligent digging unearthed 10 CDs worth of raw, passionate music and the label then commissioned written pieces by the likes of Amiri Baraka, Val Wilmer...to produce a 200 odd page book giving the lowdown on Ayler's life and times. Also includes various bits of ephemera-photos, playbill, dried leaf(!)....

Carved black box has lots of scratches on back; obi has a small rip which has been carefully repaired with cellotape; discs have a few tiny marks.
