(17/11) Cosmic disco pioneer Beppe Loda lets fly another must have volley of obscure Italian edits, this time shining a spolight on the funkier end of the spaced out spectrum. Up first we get the groove heavy AOR disco of "Making The Connection", a simmering melting pot of syncopated drumming, fat bass and freaky clav, all topped with some dazzlingly white funk vocals. If Sweet's "Funk It Up" and People's Choice classic "Movin' In All Directions" got hot and bothered in the privacy of a members only club, it'd probably sound a fair bit like this! Next up "Top" takes us on a horny (brass-led) romp through the sultry air of a Mediterranean dancefloor, loosening our limbs with a particularly wiggly bassline and some Benson-esque guitar riffage. Switch over to the flip and slip on your spandex space suit for a mega extension of Oro's super rare "Sexy Lady".
