(16/02) On the A-side, syncing 80s sequenced bass and big synth brass hits with sweeping pads, woodflute trills and stomping drum machine percussion. One part proto-house, one part Fairlight funk, this is totally Balearic in the 'peak time at the Ku' sense. Shit gets far out on the flip as Max opens "Hearts In Flood" with the esoteric sound of tabla and some backwards synth sitar. A bubbling bassline and stripped back beat join the party, adding their rhythmic pulse to the star-gazing guitar and resonant drones.
