"In 1977, Mike Heron, formerly of The Incredible String Band and Heron, was still living in the Glen Row Scottish cottage, which had been the Incredible String Band's home and musical headquarter. He recorded a lot of songs between 1977 and 1978, using the home studio located in Glen Row with help from Frank Usher on guitar -- who had also played with Mike on Heron -- and Jon Bavin, the session engineer, on bass and keyboards along with a variety of local drummers. This double CD set contains the complete recordings from these sessions -- known for years between ISB fans as the 'Glen Row Tapes.'
