Getting right down to business on the A-side, the Squirrels go deep into one of my favourite disco records OF ALL TIME, Love Committee's sensational "Just As Long I Got You", looping those soulful grooves into infinity, speaking to our sensitive souls with those loved up vocals and adding the hissing hats, snapping snares and thunderous kicks essential to house music. Over on the flip, the Squirrels swap Salsoul for P&P as they recut Cloud One's "Spaced Out" into a hypnotic dancefloor chanter which uses vocal idents and primal drumming to pull us close before those classic wigged out synths blow us away completely.
