On the A-side, we're hit with a cosmic house bomb built out of at least one funk anthem (although I suspect there's a lot more going on here). Taking at least some inspiration from Undisputed Truth's "Method To The Madness", the myserious editors deliver a bumping peak time smasher, with funked up wah bass, off beat guitar licks and all manner of space fx. Around the midway mark, they hit the big red button and blast us into warp speed with a squirming acid line and a bit hit of wormhole funk. The B-side takes a leaf out of the NY Edits book, slowing a sleazy funk strutter right down into smack disco territory, dousing the guitar licks and horn trills with a generous helping of echo and turning those cruising vocals into molasses.
