Benny Badge is back with his Silver Linings crew for more sun-dappled, new boogie straight outta Melbourne, AUS. Adored by modern funk aficionados and new boogie boys the world over, and following an infamous Wet Play performance and European tour, we find the outfit in fine form, delivering seven tracks that ooze cool and should unite floors from DC to MCR and MEL. We find Françoise D’Argent delivering some of her best vocal performances of her career, sugary sweet but with a spine-tingling depth and diva-esque pitch. If anyone needed further evidence that Benny is one of our generation's most inventive synth players, then this album should have them hooked on his keys. Lachlan's gilded strat lines take a back seat on this outing, instead we see the musician drop some inspired vocoder sections and join Benny on keys and synth - giving the whole EP a electronic soul run down that sees it fly miles ahead of its contemporaries
