(17/13) This 12" starts with "Shhh" - a vibrant deep house jam which loops female spoken word with Rhodes licks and warm B-line. A little bit Mood II Swing and sexy as hell with it. "U With Me" has deliciously darting leads, panning left and right to create a really stimulating vibe. When the bass drops you'll be putty in the SGP's hands, swamped by fat Rhodes chords and totally infectious groove. "What Les Beneath" takes things deeper and darker, hinting more towards the Moods And Grooves output with long drawn out chords decorated with tantalizing bleeps and frenetic bass part. Finally, "Mind Control" ends with a classic deep house vibe, recalling Delano Smith or Rich Wade with its delicate, poised house-hypnosis.
