(1628) Steven Julien aka FunkinEven serves up what could quite possibly be album of 2016. Everything about this album is right. The progression is spot on: starts out brilliantly lush, gets you worked up straight away with 'XL' as a definite highlight, and then switches to a darker vibe at exactly the right time. 'Fallen' takes you to the second half of the album in a Blade Runner-esque style, with 'Jedi' setting the pace for the remainder of the album.
