Scarce limited edition (of 3000) silver embossed black textured box set, comprising 15 x 7" vinyl singles containing tracks from the Star-Club tapes. Each 7” comes in an identical black and white cover with a group shot on the front and a label hole on the back with a history of the recordings. One label shows the two song titles, the other one has the same photo as the front of the sleeve. The box has a lift-off lid, with a list of singles pasted inside, along with a stamped limited edition number. Facsimiles of a 1962 postcard, a 1962 Star-Club concert poster and pennant, and a March 1964 Beatles Fan Club Newsletter, are included. The text on the back cover of each 7” reads as follows: “In Liverpool, Hamburg and other dance halls….what we generated was fantastic, where we played straight rock, and there was nobody to touch us in Britain. As soon as we made it, we made it, but the edges were knocked off. We always missed the club dates because that’s when we were playing music.

(cautious grade on both box and vinyl. Some light damp spots on paper inserts)
