This new compilation brings together the band's most essential tracks, recorded almost entirely with extra bandmates Don Drummond (trombone), Roland Alphonso (sax), Lloyd Knibb (drums) and Jackie Mittoo (keys). Under the production purview of one Arthur 'Duke' Reid - the esteemed producer whose work centred on the label Treasure Isle - this 28-track extravaganza hears the band's myriad influences 'go ska', as they liked to put it.
